The Cosmic Vortex Of Doom has been a work in
progress for the last two and a half years,it all started one muggy and rainy afternoon when neb,gaz and myself,for the first
time ever discussed our love of everything doomy,dirty and god damn groovy!!!this was to be how things were for roughly two
years....just talk!we'd get together,drumk or stoned as hell and talk about how cool it would be to start our very own stoner/doom
band!so the days past and the seasons changed until at last.....we thought of a name for our little project!!!!The Cosmic
Vortex..............Of DooooooooooM(as i recall it)!!
then more days/months past of discussion...then.....our
first practice!!!
The line up was nearly complete,only one slight
problen....no bass player, but that wasnt to last fot very long...steo in...Mark Axon of Montana!!!we wanted him to be the
second guitarist but as we didnt have a bass player,he said he'd do it for us!!unfortunately,this line up only lasted for
two songs and axon left to concentrate on his other band but we still love him!
so it was back to three!!until a good friend
and bassist from college stepped up to offer his services...The Mighty Panda!!!!!and the line up has stayed the same for nearly
one entire year and is still groovin' along better than fuckin ever!!!kickin out dirty stinkin' song after song!!!!!!
a demo was recorded earlier this year...3tracks...21minutes!!!!recorded

We are currently still gigging and still wanting
to gig where ever the fuck we can and a new cd should be upon you very soon!!!!!stay dooooooomed for more to come you mutha
